Laketran Advocacy
The Laketran Board of Trustees must consider adjustments to services and fares due
to the current economic crisis that is draining the resources required to operate
the transit system. Declines in State funding since 2000 have exacerbated Laketran’s
financial challenges.
Citizens are encouraged to attend one of four public hearings to be held March 30
through April 2, 2009.
Your help is needed to sustain and increase public transit funding! The following
documents provide information and facts about Laketran’s financial challenges and
the crisis facing all transit systems in Ohio. If you need assistance in writing
