Board of Trustees

Laketran is governed by a nine-member Board of Trustees. Trustees are appointed by the Lake County commissioners for a period of three years.

2008 Board of Trustee Meetings

The Board of Trustees meets on the fourth Monday of each month unless otherwise listed.

"Committee of the Whole" meetings are scheduled on the following dates at 4 pm. The Board of Trustees meetings will immediately follow the Committee of the Whole meeting.

The annual meeting calendar is adopted each year at the January meeting of the Board of Trustees. All meetings are held at Laketran Headquarters located at 555 Lakeshore Blvd. in Painesville Township. All meetings are open to the public.

Board of Trustee Workgroup Meetings

The Laketran Board of Trustees have several workgroups to provide input and oversight on projects and in several areas of operations. Each workgroup meets on an as-needed basis. Existing workgroups and their respective meeting dates scheduled for the remainder of 2008 are: Health and Human Services Policies and Service Workgroup no meeting scheduled at this time
